Pain in the Breast bone

I have such bad arms at the mo can not wash my hair !!!

And have really bad pain in the breast bone down the front

And ache all over x any one else get this x

That sounds like costo chondritis and it is so painful as with the pain being where it is any movement of the arms causes agony and trying to wash your hair is a no no. When I had that badly dry shampoo was a lifesaver. It sounds to me as though you are having a bad flare so rest as much as you can and be gentle with your movements. Hope it eases soon.x

Yes that's what my Professor said on Friday he would have given me steroids but I am on warferin so can not have them ,you are well informed and thanks the the info thankyou

Yes I do believe rosewine is right ! This does sound like costochondritis as I have this on a permanent basis, this is horrible especially when sneezing or coughing ! I have also lost some range in mobility in my arms because of this

I'm in agreement with the others that it does sound very much like costochondritis, and I'm sorry that your Professor doesn't seem able to give you meds to help. I am wondering if there is an alternative to steroids which may be able to give you some relief from this very painful condition.

Anti inflammatory's for a few days, also a really painful fascial manipulation massage which elongates the connective tissue. The result, for me, is tenderness for a few days then quite long term benefits (variable ).

I went to docs with that last week and he got the physio to see me today. It is painful, I am afraid. Hope you feel easier soon.
