i wish to thank the person that sent out a post on here about the blue badge i sent for one on line and now next week i get one which will help me to get out more so thank you who ever it was that sent that post out i didn't think i would get it but i did

Makes a lot of difference to going out, word of warning though always read the parking restrictions as the are not standard and they do change. A car park I had been using for years changed its rules so it was no longer free. Luckily a passerby brought it to my attention before I was fined.

Absolutely wonderful news I am so pleased for you it will make such a difference to your life.

Betty's advice is good as the rules for parking can vary from car park to car park and from region to region so as she says always read the small print. Our local council had 2 hour parking near the town and I parked and for some reason noticed that they had changed it to 1 hour. As i was going to the hairdressers I hour would not have been enough so had to move the car but that was better than getting a fine.

Hi I need to apply for my blue badge and I've been told that as I got over 16 points I automatically get one. My question is tho if I automatically get it do I have to fill in every single question on the form? Plus if I apply online wot happens about the picture etc...

Sorry to be a pain with all these questions lol

i only had 8 points and i have sent in everything they as for all i did was scan everything to my laptop and then on the form i up loaded them in the right parts they ask for them but they will send out a letter that has to have you sign it and scan it also back to them hope this is of help i also paid for it on line wishing you all the best in getting yours

Please can you tell me what the points are that people are referring to? Do you have to be in receipt of AAllowance to get a blue badge. I will be grateful of any advise as I am no longer able to go out with family as I would like as can't get out of car as the spaces are too narrow. Also, the parking is too far away from where I am going and am in pain by the time I get there.

i am not sure best thing is to go on the blue badge site and read up on it there is best i think it's differnt from place to place can only but ask i did mine on the web site get it next week
