Lovely photo you definately don't look your age. Nice to meet you. Have you tried wearing those joint warming knee supports as they are dual purpose. I find that I can often get most of my body warm but not my knees and the area of thigh above it so I tend to massage that area with something like Musselflex or Pernaton before getting out of bed and doing some stretching exercises to warm up the muscles and it seems to help. I am sure others will have the same problem and be on when they can with some helpful hints.

I don't know if you have a bath and how easy it is for you to get in and out put alot of us swear by having an Epsom Salt bath last thing at night as it seems to relax the painful joints and might help you move better in the mornings. Take care.x

Hi

Oh that must be painful for you, rubbing your knees with Vic before you go to sleep may help - as will keep them under the covers! Seriously, do your legs end up sticking out from under the covers or do you have circulatory problems? I always find a hottie helps as it stays warm for quite a long time. Also you could ask the physiotherapist whether they can suggest anything.

Have you tried the microwave heat pads? They stay warm for up to 10 hours. Those I use are solid and take some getting used to but having them under a cover with you is toasty :-)

People in the local fibro support group swear by it and the one time I used it I slept like a baby, must have been the remidners of childhood :)

Braces for knees, I use a pillow under my knees, heating pad and lidocaine patches. That's about all I can suggest. Sorry I am sure others can suggest more than me! You also should talk to doctor they should know something to help. Hugs
