Hello people, Can anyone give me recommendations for arthritic pain. I have pain in my finger joints, shoulders, legs etc even if it was a supplement that would help me. I'm only 67 and I don't want to be in pain for the rest of my days. Thanks for reading

Turmeric with black pepper supplements. A lot of people are on cbd oil and creams. It seems to help.

Would also recommend;

-gentle exercise if you are able to

- massage

If your arthritis is very bad, are you a candidate for surgery?

I use an arnica gel for fibro and arthritis and it helps to dull the pain. A lot of arnica products are homeopathic and I didn't find they worked for me, but the gel I use actually has arnica as a major ingredient and I apply it liberally all the time. It's a water based gel and sinks in really quickly, I even carry a small bottle in my bag when I go out. Many people swear by the brand I use for arthritis, and it certainly helps the arthritis in my hands. If you'd like to know more details please PM me, as I believe it's against the rules to post details of the brand and supplier here on the forum.

I was knocked down by a car..so I've some issues now. They told me I've mild arthritis in my lower back.

I've also been diagnosed with straight neck, lower back, laberal tears in hips and hip bursitis.

I think I could have fibro after this. My gp thinks I could have inflammatory disease now. I had psoriasis 10 years ago but it cleared up after I got my tonsils out. It was pretty bad so perhaps I have psa now. I'm off to a rheumatologist and orthopedic surgeon so shall see.

I've little fate anymore and I'm only 32. Massage defo helps.me as I go once a week and if exercise.i feel less stiff.

I will also consider applying for the fm/a blood test for fibro. I read they have a vaccine which they will begin to trial so who knows.

I feel 90 most days but I keep going.

I'm same heat and cold therapy does help. Epson salts are good as well. I use the thermacare heat wraps. It costs a bloody fortune to stay alive.

It seems everyone on these forums have multiple issues etc so we aren't alone. I feel very sad when I read so many suffering. I am also on some fb groups and learned about other supplements etc.

I was saying the other day to my 92 year old grandmother that she is in better shape than me.🤣I've other friends who have spinal issues, others who have immune stuff and health/mental issues and diagnosed with cancer. So I think no escaping bad health no matter what age.

The fma test can be sent to international which I read online. Just need a doctor to put on the application so would need there consent.and somewhere to draw your bloods.

The fma test would have to pay.

I also have been reading a lot about morgan Freeman etc who have fibro. They swear by marijuana. Waiting to be legalised in Ireland hopefully next year but they need to add chronic pain to list

Yep I've bought cbd oil and got a cream as well so with this and diet I shall see in next few weeks if any improvement. I feel my right side is bad which is the side which took the impact when I was knocked down off my bike by a stupid driver who didnt see me which I dont know how he didnt.

Have you tried it as well?like from what I can see the medical professionals prescribing pills which have bad side effects but if you dont take them then you could be worst off. Then with this opioid crisis, they think all chronic pain sufferers are druggies which they aren't.

I'm just very frustrated at the moment with the way chronic pain is dealt with in general. I agree counselling helps people but some people think it is the cure for people. Like its v hard to accept being in pain no matter how good support you have etc and take your meds.

More.needs.to be done. If only I had the power to.

I think some vape as well. So could try that. That's my dream too. If you do win, I would go work for you.😁😉

Like 30 per cent of the population is in chronic pain like it's crazy. I've had chats with people before it doesn't get the recognition as other illnesses e.g. cancer etc. My friend made a good point she said people who have cancer can die but chronic pain they dont. I said it takes years off people and some people want to die etc. She said she didnt think of that.

Enjoy the bath. Will do. It's been a great chat. I think like minded 😊

When I started to experience arthritic pain in my hands, a friend told me about hyaluronic acid. Apparently one of the reasons for arthritis can be that your body is no longer producing enough of it, so she told me to try taking one 300 mg tablet per day and if it works for you, the pain and swelling will disappear but you have to take it for a minimum of 4 months to see if it will work. So I tried it, I bought Pure Clinica label 300mg tabs from Amazon and three months and two weeks in they started to work, up until that point I thought there was no difference, then the pain and swelling went away and I have been taking a tab a day for eight or nine years and generally have had no recurrence, except on damp cold winter days when I take two tabs. It has worked for quite a few of my friends as well. So maybe you could try that.
