Hi, same problem but mine is osteoarthritis. Constant use of the Volarol will help. My GP suggested using the 12hour version but apply it all over my hands. The effects tend to build up which helps.

Hi mine do awfully I'm female & apparently its arthritis. A common problem as you get older when your female cause of all you do with your hands. I'm 54. So the gp told me last week. Xx

I am the same. Osteoarthritis that we women get usually after the menopause. The pain comes and goes depending on what you do.

this may be similar to a problem I had: arthritis where the wrist and thumb meet. tried cortisone injections. wore specially molded hand braces 24/7 for many years. FINALLY more cortisone relieved it. I seldom have this pain anymore; when I do I wear a pharmacy-bought hand brace for a while and it clears up. I know I got lucky. persevere! best of luck to you!

I have osteoarthritis in the base of both of my thumbs and in several knuckles on my fingers. I have had surgery on both of the thumbs unfortunately the first one lasted for about a year pain free and then its come back and the second i had the surgery last October and my hand is still not right i do find that if the dr injects the right part with a steroid injection i can be relatively pain free for about 3 months if they get the exact right spot if they don't they don't work. Definitely worth giving the injections a go i had the same in my toes and kept having injections and that went away after a number of sessions. I also have osteoarthritis in my hips and knees and thats just getting worse.

I hope you get some relief from yours soon.

Take care

Jackie
