How much of this is fibro?

My fibro was diagnosed in 2005 and not too bothersome until 2011.I don't think they are but could my current symptoms be fibro related. Swelling headpain soreness fatigue .I know rib pain is as so many of you have mentioned costochondritis.

It could be, but might be better to see your doctor, a lot of us have different symptoms, I myself have severe pressure on the backs of my legs from the bend in my knees up over and in my left foot, severe tender spots all over my body including what feels like my ribs chronic pain in my legs when walking, always tired, the list is endless lol some people in another group i am in also get headaches. I hope you feel better soon x

Yes Fibro can cause, pain, soreness, fatigue and skin flares (rashes etc). Costochondritis is also very common, it's just inflammation of the connective tissue of the ribs.

Certainly sounds like it I'm like you every time i experience a different symptom i go to Dr's thinking what else have i got but everything has been put down to fibro achy jaw when eating stomach cramps because food isn't digesting head aches especially in sun light or when stressed very painful hips tops of legs periods actually i don't think there's any part of my body that hasn't been affected

hi beingill.its true they put everything down to fibro even when its not fibro !ijust had a barium meal scan which revealed food not reaching my stomach or getting stuck in my throat.a lot of other things ive seen gp for ,haven't given me a diagnosis and no one has ever accepted my recent weight gain was/is abdominal and loss elsewhere gained 1.5 inches on stomach and an inch off hips

Sadly I don't think they will ever get into the discussion of where the weight is or isn't on your body, just that there is weight gain which needs to be addressed, hence your appointment with the diabetic nurse and nutritionalist. Believe me, I do understand, one of my meds caused rapid weight gain, but I have to take them, I barely eat, and they still tell me I'm obese. No one likes to hear that. I'm hoping they'll stop them soon and I get my weight back to normal!
