Hi everyone... I'm new here too, been reading lots of posts and can relate to many. Still waiting to see if my GP will refer me to a rheumatologist as recommended by the physio (not holding my breath on that one) he's suggesting I have fibromyalgia as widespread pain muscle spasms and many more problems. I had a double heart bypass in 2010, leaking heart valve, pulmonary hypertension, hypertension, plantar fasciitis in both feet ( so painful to walk) had that nearly 5 years nothing really seems to be helping... Collar bone pains... Knees are crunching and hurting (waiting for X-ray) painful right wrist, irritable bowel with diverticular disease... Oh dear the list goes on lol only on meds for heart and hypertension, just in process of sorting out different statins as I'm off them for now (GP not happy) as causing problems. I am so sensitive to meds I'm actually dreading taking anything for fibro... Just relying on paracetamol an ibuprofen for now which rarely touch anything... Sigh!!! Sorry for waffling on this was supposed to be just a short hello really..

Best wishes to all

Hi Buttercup,

it sounds like you have a lot of similar issues to me. Most of those particular issues seem to stem from the Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hypermobility type) that I've been diagnosed with. There are different types of EDS, and if there is heart involvement it would be worth looking into the vascular type. Look up ehlers-danlos.org/what-is-e... to see the different types and see if you think it might be pertinent to you.

Best of luck to you.
