Tickly itchy sensation
Hi,
I get tingling, itching, and other sensations. Some feels skin relates, some more muscle related. Also get a low grade feeling of vibration.
I have heard other people mention this.

Yes I quite often get this but can see no rash and itching makes no difference. It is absolutely infuriating. It isn't all the time but I often notice that it is worse if my pain is bad or I have overdone things and am extremely tired. If you are at all worried have a word with your GP if it is only for reassurance as worrying about things I feel can sometimes make it worse. Hope it goes away and you can get a good nights sleep.x
I have this constantly and it drives me crazy! I visited my GP and was given a steroid cream which worked for the two weeks that I was allowed to use it for but now I have stopped it is back with a vengeance. I would definitely discuss the issue with your GP just to have other conditions ruled out, and hopefully they may be able to give you something for it that works?
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck
Ken
WOW! Sounds so frustrating! Is there any chance this may be a "histamine" reaction? Anytime I have had something similar, it's been a histamine response for me. I then know I have eaten or have inhaled some irritant which is eliciting a histamine response. This response is more easily elicited when I am under stress or am exposed to multiple irritants.
Please ask your doctor about this possibility.
I hope you and Ken find relief quickly!
Oh, just had another thought. Some people describe these sensations when taking narcotic pain meds. It can be a side-effect as opposed to an allergy to narcotic meds. Please always check with your physician.

Dthanks all for responding, I thought I might contact my diabetes nurse tomorrow, it might be a kind of neuropathy, Mustn't just blame fibro. The sensation inside my eye socket it horrible
Like you and everyone below I suffer from this at times. No rash but intense itching all over my body including my face and even behind my eyeballs.
I have mentioned on this forum in the past that I am pretty sure that I read somewhere that it is our over sensitive nerve endings playing up. Of course due to the fog in my head I can't remember where but it does make sense to me.
I don't worry about it as there is no rash and I don't get it all the time - it is usually when I am over tired and invariably it happens night and keeps me awake.
Also knowing that others on this forum suffer the same leads to think that it is just another symptom to add to the long list.
I wish you all the best.
Jane

Hi Carol, the only relief I got was a mild antihistamine, like piriton, I have to make sure it's non drowsy,, and even then only half a tablet, I have fibromyalgia too, and super sensitive to any meds or chemicals. I still have itchy ears and throat, I constantly lose my voice I've just had the camera down my nose and neck. I've had barium xray, all perfectly normal. As is the case with fibromyalgia.
I wish I could be of more help, but best advice is go and see your GP. Tell the Dr that you know others with fibromyalgia suffer from this too
Best wishes Vonny
