Itchy raised bumps
Hi Ward I see you have only posted once back over 4 yrs ago, so firstly I would like to say, it's nice to know you ☺ Have you been to the mother site before, there are lots of useful links & information, so worth a look. fmauk.com
I'm afraid lots of people with fibro suffer with the same problem. I constantly itch, I've got 3 different steroid creams for different parts of my body & a special hair wash. I use coconut oil a lot which helps somewhat.
It could very well be the medication, Codiene has this effect on lots of people. I get little blisters on my hands which itch like crazy.
You should mention it to your doctor and I take antihistamines when my eyes itch.
I do hope you can get it sorted out because it's extremely frustrating.
Peace, luv n light

Even the palms of my hands were itchy it was driving me crazy gp tried me on creams at first then on one visit the itch was so bad that i was scratching my arm when i walked into the office he saw the raised lines on my arm's that's when he gave me the cetirizine, it was a real life saver the relief was brilliant. Good luck with your gp 👍
Thanks for info like you said it drives you mad even scratching my scalp seeing dr on wed cant wait
Hi Ward
Do you take Gabapentin or Pregabalin? I have to take antihistamines because I am allergic to both. I now take Gabapentin without the itching. When it first occurred, I ignored it for months but eventually had to visit the GP because I was scratching myself to ribbons. He confirmed it was the Gabapentin.
Go visit your GP and see if it is your meds. You will be so glad you did.
I hope everyone has a fairly well day.
Jaxie 😊
My daughter had her whole body itchy when she was 3 to the point of taking lidocaine with no relief. The dermatologist told me it was a cousin of psoriasis. He put a cream on two freckle looking spots and gave her instant relief. Don't rule that out. I have psoriasis which gets aggravated by allergies among other things. The skin is our largest organ for detoxing our body. I use tea tree oil with great success in calming down the inflammations. It can be added to shampoo and soap as well.
Hi Ward
I am so genuinely sorry to read this and it could very well be medication related. If this persists or gets any worse I would have it checked out just to have other medical conditions ruled out of the equation my friend.
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
