Sorry, just another quick post. Thanks

For your replies. My pip was denied by both original assessment and mandatory reconsideration. It is now going to tribunal, has anyone gone that far and been successful. What do I need to expect?

I don't know but I would recommend the guides from benefits and work to help with this. Fibroaction has a link to request the guides to be sent to you. Good luck

I haven't yet. Still waiting for decision after my assessment for PIP. Did go all the way to Tribunal with my DLA claim. I don't know if its going to be different from DLA but my experience was the Tribunal actually listened to me when I spoke about what was wrong with original assessment. Remember to ask for a copy of how DWP came to original decision so that you are prepared when go for expert help (CAB, etc)

Who was your assessment with ATOS or CAPITA?

Good luck. Keep fighting. X

It was with Atos. She didnt listen to me half the time. In her report, she put that I can wash and dress with an aid or appliance which I cant - my partner has to do it. That lost me 4 points and I was denied by 2 points. She even drove to my home in a car registered as a taxi

it was with Atos. They not interested in how you feel they just want their figures to look good by not awarding it which in turn makes the government look good with their unemployment figures

That sounds like typical ATOS. When you get report go through everything she put down with a fine tooth comb. In my experience the Tribunal were brilliant they listened to me.

I had CAPITA for my PIP assessment have heard they actually take notice of what you say. I am awaiting outcome. XX

Thankyou though my doctors are useless. Was diagnosed with bronchitis today and she said my fm will flare up because of the infection. Was considering asking my doctor for a letter but i dont think they would put half of it on there

I haven't got a long document to produce. Just changed doctors and they are not exactly sympathetic to fm. That was the reason I changed from my original doctors who were worse
