Hi there there's a saying up here and its lots of fluffies and gentle hugs to you . I already know myself how this can be and so sorry your day isn't better but keep warm leave everything you can until when you can and be kind you cant beat this illness with ferociousness it will make one worse, So take it easy and relax if you can. xx
It is a old remedy, a hot water bottle, warm milk and pain killers. It would have worked for me and my girls
It is nasty, I had friends that breezed through and could never understand why I was doubled over, shaking and white as a ghost I use to get sent home from work when I was that bad. So out came the pain killers, hot water bottle and hot milk then bed for the rest of the day. 1st, 2nd, and 4th day were always the worst. Was not sorry when I had a hysterectomy and they all stopped Funny thing was I always found female bosses and doctors to be the least sympathetic
Yeah I'm same, really bad with them, some people think I'm just been soft it's annoying, so todd y I'm doing a few bit but mainly relaxing with the hot water bottle, it's nice to know I'm not the only one, as you start to feel like your goino soft sometimes, ☺
A boss once told me that I should see a doctor and get it sorted. I had been regularly I was only 18 and single, his advice nearly made me drop of my seat. He told me to go and get pregnant, that would sort it all out, my mum would of had a fit at that when I did eventually have kids, it didn't sort it all out but it did make it a little easier. So I will stick to my original advise
I am so sorry to read this and I just wanted to wish you all the best.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi there
I have had this problem for 2 decades my fellow fibromite and I truly feel for you.
My advice is to speak to your GP about whether there are any treatments that you could consider to help alleviate or reduce the pain that you are getting. Mine are heavy too so I got a referral to see a gynaecologist who took a history, did an exam and suggested options which we then discussed.
I am, however, different to you of course and our problems could be very different so I can't say what would be the best course of treatment or remedy for you. Your doctor knows what other medications that you take and may adjust them accordingly to suit your needs or may even prescribe something for you to take at that time of the month.
Aside from that I find that a hot water bottle in the small of my back helps along with rubbing in some pain gel over abdomen and small of my back, but again please check with your doctor about whether you are allowed to use a pain gel.
