I was diagnosed with Fibro in March this year after four years of suffering pain. I have severe pain in almost every joint from my head to toes, which stops me from using my hands and walking very much. I have had test which say I do not have arthiritis, I'm not so sure I have heard it's possible to have arthirits with negative blood tests and scan?
Is there anyone else who knows if this is true? Do others suffer such pain in joints with a diagnoses of fibromyalgia?

I am so sorry to read that you are in so much pain and I genuinely hope that you can find the answers that you so desperately desire and deserve. I have pasted you a couple of links below that show that you can get a diagnosis of arthritis with a negative blood test according to NHS Choices:
From what I have read I understand that you can? The real question is if a Rheumatologist diagnose this for you, would your GP agree and take on board their recommendations? x
Hi Irelen So sorry to say but the pain with fibromyalia is very bad day and at night as for blood tests mine came back negative butthentold i hd ostio arthiritis ofthe knees xx
Yes seen doctor at hospital said I have fibromyalgia and osto arthritis in my left foot. I had cortisone injections and for three month had no pain no migraine and was better. Now the tell me I cannot have anymore injections and that the injection would not help fibro. This is why I wonder if it is arthritis? Has anyone experience of this
Hi sorry for your pain and discomfort. Am also in pain most days,i wake up very stiff in the morning with my back ,or when i have been sitting in the same postion for some time.I have been going to my doctors for over 20 years with various joint pains,at the moment i have Arthritis in both my kness, also suffering from tennis elbow in both arms, get a lot of pins and needles with them too, my doctor both diagnosed these.I have asked for a referal to the hospital for proper tests, but get fobed of all the time.I asked my nurse for a Arthritis blood test,so she kindly done one, I asked for a print out of my results and the range given was (0 - 12) my result was 6.2 ,the doctors receptionist said it was on the boarderline.I am just getting really frustrated ,and i am really thinking about changing my doctors,i have a choice of 3,but they are all as bad as each other, just not listening to my concerns about my health. Can some one please advice me of what to do next, thank you in advance..
