I was taking my 4 year old granddaughter on a little bus ride when she said,"Nanna! Did you know that tortoise and turtles live to 100!! "Yes" I replied. Then came, "it's because they walk really slowly...... and because you walk really slowly now, that means 'YOU! will live to 100!!....I will walk really slowly with you and we can be 100 together!!....(secretly wipes tear from eye)  Oh, the joy this little one gives me is second to none!!

A tissue moment to be sure.

Children bring such joy and have a way of looking at the world many of us have lost.

I love it.

Thanks for sharing the magic. You should have it added to a poster complete with a picture of granddaughter. The memory will always keep you warm.

That is so beautiful. I often wish we could still have the pure innocense of a child and see the world as they see it, there are no grey areas it is all black and white and unadulterated by all the clutter we have in our brains.x
