good morning ...even from that angle your garden looks beautiful, lol as i staggered down stair today to do my garden inspection and make a large cuppa everything looked beautiful..
Its still raining and the wind has picked up which im glad to say is'nt me or the dog..
I hope your feeling well on this horrible day, i can feel a rest day coming on with a homely made casserole.

I have a rest now having been to a christening early, they are then having a civilised tea party to celebrate this afternoon, so I am resting until then.

Eeeuuughhh I don't do cake - I mean, I make them happily but not eat them, not keen on sweet things
over 30 degrees here again, so so hot that everyone is slow and laid back. Only sound is of the crickets who are actually very loud.

Awww thank you dear gins I think what looks like asparagus is infact my cosmos, very ethereal, in the foreground is a Salvia Macrophylia "hot lips" (it's easy to see why, the white with the red lips is very stunning- I have three of them in total ) together with penstemons of varying colours.
I do get such joy from it at this time of year despite the taxing task of having to dead head every day
