Morning everyone I haven't been on for a while, was wondering if anybody as had the same happen to them. I filled the ESA form in waited 6mnths for a reply, which I couldn't believe it said that I'd to go for a medical I'd add 2 medicals in the past last one 6yrs ago. I had a medical over four month's ago and I still haven't heard anything, I've been dreading that brown envelope on the mat which totally stresses you out. I haven't rang DWP as I'm scared don't want to tempt fate, as I've heard so many bad things. I haven't worked for 9yrs having various medical problems, is there anyone out there been waiting as long for result of medical. thanks

Hello Amanda, I have been waiting for the results of my PIP medical for 13 wks. I called them yesterday and was told that they had been waiting for a report on the medical I attended in Feb. It was called off when the assessor decided that I was unfit to continue.

My brain went walk about and my BP was through the roof.

They said that now that they have it I will hear in about 3 wks.

2 months after that I am due for reassessment. You just cant flipping win.

I hope that you hear soon and that it is in your favour.

My husband sent ESA50 form back 24/06/2013 and he is still waiting.

Omg I waited over 6mnths that must be a record thats just over a year, everything as gone to pot since the ESA benefit started.

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I think there are a lot of people who have been waiting such an awful long time? Two weeks ago on the BBC News Channel they announced that there was 700,000 claimants still waiting for assessments alone!

I want to wish you all the best of luck with your claim.

The best thing I can think of is try to forget it well that's what I'm trying to as I had my assessment last Monday so I hope you get the best results you been waiting for hun sending gentle hugs your way. Ros xoxox
