Atos medical tomorrow morning!! :(

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is as well as they can be.

I have my Atos medical for PIP tomorrow morning and I'm so anxious about it that I can't sleep or concentrate on anything. Have made myself so much more sore because I can relax or sleep for the last week.

I will be so glad when it's over! I have just heard so many bad things about Atos and how they treat people with fibro :(

hi hunny :)

This link takes you to benfitsandwork.co.uk and some info about PIP medicals.

I had one for DLA 2 years ago by ATOS and it is important to show you can try to do something but they cannot force you to do so.

benefitsandwork.co.uk/perso...

I also got this from ATOS own web page: At your PIP Consultation

atoshealthcare.com/pip/at_y...

Hope these help a little :)

Try to relax if you can and my fingers and toes are crossed for you :)

xxx sian :)

Good luck tomorrow Becky I am sure everything will go well. Can I first say I wish you the best of luck tomorrow.

I know it is awful when you have worked yourself up but in one way the worse that you are on the day the more likely they are to see how much help you need and how ill you are whereas if you appointment was when you were going through a better phase it is difficult to explain how Fibro affects you when you are at your worse.

I would do yourself a few notes so you don't forget what you want to say as nerves can kick in and with fibro fog it can be difficult. You can make the point that you have had to do notes as you have difficulty remembering things.

There haven't been masses of people yet who have undergone the PIP interviews but of those who have had one several people have had good experiences with understanding, sympathetic professionals and they have had good outcomes.

Let us know how you get on.x
