I wish I could say something that would help, I experience shortness of breath I am told it is asthma and have two inhalers, this whether does not help. Cant sleep tonight, one of problems with having fibromyalgia and polyarthritis, so whenever I visit my G.P with say chest pains its always one of the above , I am told is the cause of this .I do hope you are able to get some relief and soon.

You did! You did something really wonderful by leaving a comment and showing your support for a fellow sufferer, and that is brilliant.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hello Kes2008,

I wondered as you mention inflammation of the membrane, did your Doctor say it was Synovitis as being the medical terminology? If so, the following may be of interest to you;

backandneck.about.com/od/s/...

According to a few sources on the internet Synovitis is common in many conditions including some forms of Arthritis, see link below

I hope this helps

I'm sorry you're having so much pain - that in itself makes you feel down and tired.

I'm sorry but I've not heard of that condition either. You could ask your GP. If I were you I'd try and get an appointment and talk over what the doc at the hospital said and ask what it means. or you could wait until you go back to the hospital and ask them to explain more fully. You should know what you have the matter with you, Suppose you had to go to another hospital if you had an accident or illness, they would want you to tell them all about the treatment. Good luck!!!

I have Fibro and I haven't been able to work for several years now. During the past couple of weeks, I've been going into a local school and acting as an exam invigilator for A levels etc very very tired.. It's not difficult apart from walking up and down the rows of desks! The first week I found it hard and had a lot of pain, my feet, lower spine and all sorts, but this week (so far) my back is settling down and I feel much better. I hope it stays like that for the next couple of weeks, then my period of work is ending! Has anyone else found this, or is it just a lucky time this week??

Thanks Sue x
