Hi, does anyone else have loss of sensation in different areas of the body?
Hi Alib396
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am so sorry to read that you are having this issue at this time and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this problem. As you said you have prolapsed discs I was wondering if you may have some pinched nerves?
I have pasted you a link below to information relating to pinched nerves that can give you a sense of numbness in parts of the body. I am not a doctor so I cannot say for sure this is what your problem is but it may be worth discussing the issue with your GP.

I want to wish you all the best of luck with this and please keep us all up to date with how you get on?
All my hopes and dreams for you

Thanks you so much Ken, at 1st it was just the odd little bit here and there but I'm getting more and more of them, the doctor doesn't seem concerned but I think another trip to see him is my next move. Thanks again :0) x
Hi Alib396 I have this and the best way that I can describe it is that the area is covered in cling film :o)
Hi gracesgrandma, you've hit the nail on the head, that's just what it feels like. Do you have it in latches all over your body? and do you know what causes it? When it was just the odd bit here and there it wasn't so bad but I'm getting more and more and some of the toes on my one foot have very little feeling at all. Very odd! Thanks for the reply. :0) xx
Hi Alib396 I have it mainly on my legs and I haven't got a clue what causes it. I also have the sensation of sunburn, when I haven't got it, on my inner thigh which is awful and really hurts on my clothes. x
I have loss of feeling in big toe, second and third on right foot also numbness and loss of feeling on index and middle finger also on right hand. I occasionally display symptoms of Reynaud's phenomenon, but this numbness is permanent. My doc said possible nerve damage due to being out in minus ten when I worked as a carer, but at that time it was only the foot. The hand is more recent. I do have spondylosis, so perhaps there is a nerve pinching in my neck? Docs have done an MRI, but found nothing.

I do, especially in outer hip, lower legs and big toes! I also experience a lot of pins and needles. I have been told by my gp that this is all part of the fms but it is my view that it's related to my lumber disc degeneration.
