Hi shaz66

I am so sorry to read that you are suffering with this problem at the present time, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue.

I am not a doctor but you have described what I have in my left knee, and this was diagnosed as arthritis. I cannot say that this is what your problem is, but I have pasted you three links below that relate to the main problems that we have with knees, so it may help if you can relate to any and then discuss the issue with your GP?

nhs.uk/Conditions/Arthritis...

nhs.uk/conditions/knee-pain...

patient.co.uk/health/knee-c...

I want to wish you all the best of luck with this, and I hope that you can get your knee sorted as soon as possible.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken x

Hi shaz66 :)

I have endured similar problems with both knees for 20years and cannot say that mine is fibro related as I am double-jointed but can say that I understand what it feels like.

I don't know your medical background and whether you are hypermobile or not and am not a professional so cannot tell you what is happening to your knee.

I personally think, even though you don't like to, that a visit to your GP is the best thing to do with this problem anyway as it is important to keep our medical care providers (GP's etc) up to date with new pains and issues that we experience so that they can assess whether new medications, treatments or therapies are required such as physiotherapy or hydrotherapy to strengthen our muscles and increase stability.

Try to keep a pain diary if you can and log when this happens and what happens so you can show the doctor when you go to them as it helps us to explain it better to them.

Sending healing fluffies your way and hope you get a solution soon

:) xxxsianxxx :)

delighted you won your dla battle!

please reconsider visiting your gp as he needs to see you like this, and maybe you need your med's adjusting, you shouldn't have to put up with it.
