Hi shaz66

I am so sorry to read that you are suffering in this way and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. Obviously I am not a doctor, but what you have described sounds like arthritis? I have arthritis and my ankles and knees swell and go a bright pinky / red colour. I have pasted you a link below to the NHS Choices pages on arthritis:

nhs.uk/conditions/Arthritis...

It may be worth discussing this with your GP or medical specialist just to get this ruled out of the equation?

I want to wish you all the best of luck, and I genuinely hope that you can find the answers that you so desperately desire and deserve.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken x

Hi Shazz66

I too suffer terribly with knee, hip and foot pains. In adition to Fibro I have arthritis in my right knee and have steroid injections. These used to give me relief for about a year, but now after a couple of months I am in absolute agony. My knee and the whole area around it although not swollen is very tender to touch and my legs are in absolute agony. I was recently told about an inflamation cream called Penetrex, which is recommended for Fibro sufferers. I bought a small jar and started using it, and the difference is unbelieveable. I have previously used Volterol and other ibuprofen gels which have made little difference, but the Penetrex cream has really eased the tenderness around my knee and also the pain in my hip and legs. I also suffer from lumber spondylosis, am on Tramadol daily which hardly touches the pain. I am going to have this cream massaged into my back to see if it make a difference.

Hi,

is the cream a prescription thing or can you just buy it at the chemist? sounds really good and would like to try it.

Love and hugs

Hi

I could not find it in any chemist, and order it from Amazon. It is an American product. penetrex.com/

Sorry to hear it did not work for you. I thought I would post the details as I have really felt the difference. I hope you find something that gives you relief, as it is such a nightmare trying to function when in so much pain.

I would start taking borax combined with magnesium read about this western Australian who has researched boron for 40 years make sure there is no scent added to the borax also take some baths with borax and Epsom salts, and maybe research schlenz baths

I told this to one friend a 77 year old who was suffering from arthritis for 20 years and this got rid of the pain in about 3 days
