Sorry you're a bit grumpy. Mean old bat, eh?

Have this cutie in recompense.

We have more sunshine and less water today. Can see the grass in pub garden. and fire service is rolling up hoses.

Thank you Paul, I miss-read this and had forgotten I was feeling grumpy with the weeble. Thank you for the cheering bonkeys (I had a bonkey when I was 3 and never called it a donkey, so bonkeys they became :-) )

We are having several hundred runners coming through our village and fields in the morning, deep joy, it will be a quagmire after all that . Most years I have been involved in helping but tomorrow I am going to keep as low a profile as is humanly possibly, which is difficult as the registration centre and post run refreshments are all done in the village hall which is just a stones throw from my front door :o

Hi Foggy, How's your day been? Hope you managed the noise etc. You had every right to be grumpy. The mean old bat was the weeble not you.

That's amazing. I just thought the little feller too cute to stay on my memory stick. If you behave you might get some more.

Otters were reported in the pub garden. There's a stream called Otter up here, too. not as good as yours though. Cream tea anyone?

On second thoughts I'll send some anyway. Behaving is not in my vocabulary.

Afternoon squire, it's been very noisy and wet and the predicted quagmire has quaged, eeuughh .

We have otters here too, the mink had run many of them off the rivers but now the mink have been depleted and the otters are coming back.... Hoorah :-) Our River Otter has been causing some major problems just outside Honiton .........

Cream teas served at mine in oooo...............20 mins :-)
