I think I may be having some mild seizures. I went for a nerve conduction test and whey they finished with the electric current, the left side of my body began to tremor fairly fiercely. I haven' had a chance to speak to the Rheumy about this and I am a little creeped out by the whole thing and I also have a major head ache. Could someone describe what it feels like to have a mild seizure?

Seizures: what do they feel like?
Hi Milynda. I cant tell you anything about seizures I'm afraid, but just wanted to say I hope you get it all sorted when you speak to your Rheumy. If your really worried, perhaps you could call your GP and speak to him/her about it or NHS direct, (I think they have changed the name of that now)
I'm sure someone else on here will be able to offer advice
sending you gentle hugs
Mazz xx
Hi Milynda
I sincerely hope that you are feeling better now? I am so sorry to read that you endured such a horrid experience.
I am with Mazz64 on this, please go to see your GP as soon as you can and discuss everything that happened with them. It could be nothing more than excess static charge making you shake. However, with something of this nature it is really best to see you GP.
Please keep us all up to date with how you get on.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Thanks to both of you for the replies. I will discuss this with my GP to see what is going on.

Hi amanda2277
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you can be today? I am so sorry to read that you have been having seizure type episodes and I really hope that they are not too violent in their nature?
I genuinely hope that your neurologist can get this problem sorted for you, have they told you how long you will have to wait?
Take care and please keep us all up to date with how you get on with this?
All my hopes and dreams for you

Speaking as someone who Suffered with Gran Mal epilepsy from age 13 to 35. .it’s not what I would term a seizure....do you lose consciousness..? Are you fully aware of the trembling / shaking. ..? If you are it doesn’t sound like an Epileptic type seizure...as to another type I’m afraid I’m not sure. Hope you get it sorted. 😊👍
