Hi there sorry to hear your nervous only hope you have the experience I just had. I've been reading about the sleep thing and how we don't wash the toxins away and we still feel tired. well I pass out frequently so tired all the time. Well had to go in for an op just three days ago but was worried sill cause I heard that when you got fibro coming out of the anaesthetic isn't so good. Well here we go again and I realise there's no way of knowing for sure but so hoping you have the experience I had. I woke up with new batteries. Only lasted one day but boy it felt so normal so refreshed so wishing you have that experience to. Well lol my body couldn't keep up with my new freshness but back to normal now. Well my day must go on and so hoping things go well for you and your op actually lessens your stress in the long run fibro fiend with new hope x
All the best for your op. I'm sure it'll all be fine. Not sleeping is horrible. I've been awake since 4am due to a case of IC again. Unfortunately I then started to ache horribly and never managed to go back to sleep. *sigh* I'm thinking today is a not doing very much type of day.

Hi there tinkerbell, I so understand how you feel about the brain shutting down, I often wish there was a switch on the side of my head which I could turn off to stop thoughts whirling around my head when I'm trying to sleep. I have managed about 4 hours sleep in the last 48 hrs so am shattered. I'm glad you've got your appointment thought for your op, I know it's always scary, but sometimes the results can make your life so much better. I had a shoulder replaced two years ago, and it's was the best thing ever, yes there were hiccups, but now I'm waiting for the other one to be done and I can honestly say, I will more than happy when it's being done.
Sending you lots of positive thoughts and vibes to help you through
Foggy x
Hi, Tinkerbell
I'm sorry that you're not sleeping and the others are right about the op worrying you and disturbing your sleep. I have been asking the docs for years if there was something that they could give me to stop my head from swirling about sending me dizzy and waking me up. I find that talking to someone about your worries does help to reduce it a little. xx
I hope the op goes well for you tinkerbell
