does anyone with fibro/lupus/thyroid have double vision in one or both eyes?i was looking in my (magnifying )mirror and I could see two eyes and two noses but only when both eyes are open.its like my right eye is only half open due to swelling over my eyes.

Oh dear anbuma, I think you may need to get yourself to an optician tomorrow and get that checked out. I had a squint (lazy eye/double vision) as a child and had two ops to correct it, spent years going up to London to Moorfields Eye Hospital, did fun things on this huge machine, like putting birds in cages, plants in pots......leading edge technology of the time ;-) but I actually stopped wearing glasses and used the left eye properly and by the age of 21 had perfect vision, only now need reading glasses......ah the joys of being 50....

Seriously though do get it checked anbuma.

I'd forgotten the cat, I was in the 60's too, did you have to wear a patch over one eye to try and make the other work.? :-)

Yes please get it checked it may be the result of being tired. I have new glasses to correct this problem with a prism in one lens and it is brilliant unless I am tired out and then nothing works.

As Foggy said do go!

I have had trouble with my vision too. I looked it up - the socket that your eyes sit in are muscular, so they are affected by fibromyalgia. They spasm, causing your eyeballs to change shape, causing blurred and double vision, eye watering and dry eyes
