Has anyone heard of or has used "PEMF Therapy"

A friend of my family was talking to my mum about this new cure all treatment which might help me. It is from a company Magnacare UK, it is a Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy, in short you put it under the bed and turn it on and it claims to be able to separate red blood cells, ( in illness our red blood cells clump together so not enough oxygen gets to all parts of our body - well that's the claim, I haven't a clue) and by doing this more oxygen and the energy gets to all parts of the body and then the body can heal its self.

The web site claims " The short answer is anyone that has compromised cellular function/immune system and as that is the underlying cause of illness it means anyone and everyone."

As I said has anyone heard about it or tried it . I know the family friend has no links with the company and was only trying to help after my mum told him all about me. The system costs over £2600 so there is no way I can afford one but would like to hear from anyone who has tried it

I am always suspicious of anything that claims things like that. It is a vast amount of money to pay for something that may or may not help. Sorry, I doubt this would work but that's just my opinion.

Yeah that's my feeling it seems a bit too good to be true. Also not sure how one thing can cure so many different not related conditions from heart problems to hair loss.

I just wanted to see if anyone has heard about it or has any info on it. As the family friend is only trying to help after hearing how ill I am I though it was worth looking into

I never believe claims like this and at such a cost! A lot of these companies will tell you anything to make money and they know full well that people who are ill are vulnerable and likely to try anything because they're desperate.

I agree that It sounds a bit too good to be true and if it is that good why hasn't the Dr mentioned it? I would do some investigating on the internet and see if you can find anything out about the product and the company[ies] that sell it.

The problem, as I see it, is that there are too many people out there preying on the vulnerable and/or needy. The makers know that we'd go to almost any lengths to be pain free and that is what guarantees them a huge turnover. They can charge anything they like for utter rubbish and if you complain that it hasn't helped you they will reply that their product has 'varied' results and isn't 'suitable' for everyone so in other words 'Caveat Emptor' - buyer beware. I'm sorry if I seem full of doom and gloom but I speak from experience - as my bank balance from years ago will attest.Take care of yourself. S x

Yes I've heard of it, I know about its claimed benefits, even curing some cancers... expensive treatments and strangely enough not one of the companies now offering this service wanted to give me free sessions despite my offer to give them the best write ever... strange don't ya think x
