More of a rant!!!the bother.

Oh!! I'm sooo fed up. 4 weeks ago I was in a car accident, not my fault - idiot speeding behind me and used me as a brake, and sustained a nasty 8 inch gash to my right shin. Cos of my lympho my leg just split! 4 weeks later it's still needing redressing 3 times a week. The nurse has been this morning and feels it is red and hot. SO yet another swab and what looks like my 5th course of antibiotics!!! I've already had 4 courses in the last 4 weeks!! But the last swab came back negative so I don't know what's going on. My blood sugars haven't been raised once since it all began. I'm totally fed up, I feel like a hermit!! I'm so fiercely independent and I hate asking others for help with anything. I've even taken to buying my shopping on line to save others the bother. I hate to moan and groan and I know there are others worse off than I am, I'm just feeling sorry for myself right now.........

Maybe just maybe you are entitled to a good rant you must suffer from swollen legs and cellulitis. A car crash is a good way to set it of and now it is just time for it to settle down , I suffer as does my OH he is now in his 12th week of this episode and is not a good patient, He is very fed up and terribly awkward to talk to, So if you need a moan and agroan go for it get it out your system and you will feel so much better tomorrow xgins

Ahhh, maybe it's taken it's time to heal because we seem to take much longer to heal anything! That you feel like moaning about it is hardly suprising but doesn't follow that you are feeling sorry for yourself. We all need to rant and moan from time to time. Hell, I moan all the time! Let it out, rant good and proper then take a deep breath, find a good bunch of films or something and enjoy.

Really hope you start to heal soon and can start to get out and about a bit.

So do I!! And yes, I'm on another week's worth of antibiotics!! I'm just fed up being cooped up at home!! My aunty said I have cabin fever!! Thanks ladytelita! It's so nice to know I can rant as much as I want!! XX
