can dla stop your award just after 2 months

got awarded it in july had 2 payments july, aug and now been told that i am not entitled to it. just has i got the disability car. y give it to me in the 1st place. this is making me so ill.

Question it. Have you got your award letter still? It's possible they've got your national insurance number incorrect and that's why it stopped. It's happened to me with I.S just a few years ago. Double check all the details on the letter then ring them when you're sure all the details on it are correct. Someone has probably made a mistake.

All my details are correct it says on the letter we have looked into you awards and this is now what you get I have gone from high mobility to nothing.

It doesn't sound right at all. What was said when you were awarded DLA. Was it for a year or longer?

It's so wrong how disappointing. What reason did they give you for the sudden change of decision?

ring them first thing,

[take the person's name & extension number],

and ask them to find out what's happening and tell them it's badly affecting you so you need a quick response.
