DLA can you believe it? Some good news for once.

Well you may or may no know that last time I was assessed they sent me into a nervous breakdown so this time I was stressed when I got the forms. last time it took three months and they were threatening m with court and all sorts of rubbish.

Well I am shocked that this year (maybe the fact I threatened to sue them if they sent me back into depression) they made the assessment in one week and in my favor.

I have had my night time reduced slightly because although I need help I don't actually get it EVERY night but really I can live with that as I havn't got months or worry and bullying. I got higher rate for daytime so I still get my blue badge and bus pass. £80 per month worse off but that is a little price to pay for peace of mind.

Next reassessment in 2015 so I can breath.

With all the bad experiences we all have had though I would share a bit of good news.

so glad you got good news...mine is done and dusted thank god and liam..but I thought I would just point out. I pointed this out on EVERY letter I sent to the dwp in my three year fight!!...the DWP state;..YOU DO NOT ACTUALLY HAVE TO HAVE THE HELP TO GET DLA, BUT THAT YOU NEED IT THAT COUNTS... so you SHOULD get the night help pet...but if your happy then that's all that matters xxxx
