well done .my original DLA award was indefinite which meant I wouldn't have to go thru any dwp interviews and now it seems I will ahve to with new laws.

I know of a couple of people like you , who are having to do it all again after having an indefinite award , I hope your claim goes through quickly and easily , good luck x

hello MOffy

thank you fro your welcome back.the op went fine in itself tho I was kept in overnight as I went down to theatre around 2pm.i was disappointed with them fro lack of aftercare.i overheard them telling one patient that she would receive a letter from them re my follow up appt and any problems to see their DR.they never told me this or anything about changing dressings etc and when i phoned on the Saturday they said I could remove the dressings as i had disposable stitches and no more.teh consultant did tell

me to eat several small meals a day and not do anything for a month.i made an appt to see a dr as my wounds were sore and I had bruising and bleeding in my lower abdomen.she said it was perfectly normal and I think she couldn't believe they didn't give me any advice on aftercare.she did give me an antibiotic cream to apply to my main wound.

couldn't do anything for first week -even cleaning up after my dogs was impossible tho I did walk one of them for the first few days.a week on at least I can bend to pick things up now but I still cannot do housework or sleep at all.
