I had my 2nd ESA assement 2 weeks ago, today the envelope arrived and....da dah, i have been moved to the support group, there is no end date so i am assuming i stay there now till i reach pension age in 4 years time, i also got a nice little lump sum in the bank this morning , good luck everyone, it can work sometimes, i was close apparently last time, its just took 18 months but i got there in the end, so relieved.

Morning everyone, thank you so much for the messages, it is such a relief, as i had another job centre app next week, they have called to say i dont have to go, as for the backpay Fatabelly, i bought a new fireplace and fire yesterday, much needed in this weather lol.
The woman i saw was lovely, didnt bother with an examination, she said i was close last time and she would just make the recommendation, bless her, and its only taken two weeks, keep going everyone, there is light at the end of that very dark tunnel.
I am going to have to do this eSA thing too - what does it involve? I'm scared given my 'illnesses' are mainly hidden. I didn't even know this existed........I too have 4 years till my pension. Glad it worked out for you.
Do you work or are you off ill?, i worked up until 2 years ago when my arthritis in my hips, hands and feet got worse and then it moved to my back, i cant walk much with the pain, ESA is the benefit you claim when too ill to work xx
Hello. I've been off since January 2015. Was a PT Faculty in a school. My body and brain don't work anymore so it's impossible. Going to phone up about the benefit on monday.
Really sorry about your arthritis. You must be a strong person to cope with that. Do you miss working now?
Have you been to a hydrotherapy pool?
Really nice to meet you angel. Hope you feel a little better soon and the pain eases.
