Hi all just to let you know my son's wee girl has arrived and she looks like her daddy my son sit was a bit of a shock as she was born on sofa feet first with cord round her neck but everything is OK she's really tiny only 5 pounds 9 ounces just got to wait for my daughter's wee one in 3 weeks t.hank you all for your support at this time love Maria xx

How lovely that you have some good news and that she is just like her daddy.

There will always be a part of him still with you.

So glad that little one has arrived and another little one due very shortly.You will certainly be fully occupied.Sounds like she made quite an entrance into the world - is this start like she means to go on? Glad she is ok though.

I am so sorry for everything you have been through and my heart goes out to you but here is something new to concentrate on at least for now.

I cried with joy when I read your post Maria.

You've been through and are still going through sooooo much! The loss of a loved one - particularly your own child is difficult to imagine, let alone understand and the devastation I felt on your behalf was all consuming.

I have so much been looking forward to the birth of your grandchildren and now that the first has arrived, I am filled with joy (and relief). It will not bring back your boy but will definitely assuage a little of the pain and give you something to hold onto going forward.

Big, big CONGRATULATIONS to you Grandma and your Son's partner. Try to live in the moment and enjoy every bit of happiness you can from this mini miracle.

My daughter was three weeks premature and weighed 4lb 12 ozs. She has grown into a lovely woman, petite but perfect, went to Grammar School and earns a reasonable living, this is contrary to some Drs who painted doom and gloom regarding small babies. Enjoy your little one, how delightful, there's nothing like a new baby. x
