Has anyone tried "Devil's Claw" tablets? If so, how does it work or you?

It didnt I bought two bottles devils claw ... The only thing it worked on was my bank account .. It reduced that easily .. Over the last 23 years I dread to think what I have spent on these wonderful cure all tablets ... Now I just avoid what I know upsets my ibs and try and eat healthily

I agree with VG you do have to be careful with tablets from the health shop as they may see ok, but if you have other medical problems or on other medications it can cause a lot of problems for you. I tried something once and the ingredient had Squash the vegetable amongst other things and I took it thinking it will be ok but.... As I'm on Warfarin it made my blood to thin which wasn't good and it made me ill! My Dr has told me that I must not buy anything unless I run it by her first. The only thing I buy that helps my IBS is Slippery Elm Bark in Capsules it really helps or Aloe Vera Juice but I only take it if its on offer! Good Luck. Aisha x

Some of these herbal supplements can be quite dangerous, as well as expensive. Personally, unless your doctor recommends a supplement, I think you're better spending your money on high quality, nutritious food, with possibly a good multivitamin tablet to iron out any deficiencies.

Hi ladymoth, just a quickie to note how 'ironic' I felt your last comment to be -"multivitamin tablet to iron out any deficiencies".

I have some multivitamin tablets with added iron, & your choice of words stood out to me & made me laugh!

PS. I will iron out your deficiencies for nothing, but shirts are £1 each, and a duvet set will be £1.25 + £3,000 P&P :)

Looks at moffy in disbelief ... Duvets go into the tumble dryer and come out uncreased ....

VG the reluctant ironer ... I have about 5 items a week max

If my OH and I ever get divorced I want custody of the tumble dryer :D

I have one of those condenser driers and it creases things up something terrible - I only use it when I have no option! :(

I have such a small flat, and have no room for a proper tumble drier, more's the pity. As you say, they do a lovely job of drying stuff all crease-free and fluffy.

I promise you that when a duvet cover has been through my dryer, it would need £3000 of ironing to get it sorted, so I usually dry things by an open window!
