last year in september i had to go to the atos for a medical which didnt go well at all,i was seen by a physiotherapist who didn't know a thing about fibro,as soon as i walked in to the room i new she had already made her mind up.she wasn't a nice lady at all it felt like she was staring a hole through me which made me very nervous as i also suffer with anxierty.i have 4 children who are my world an keep me goin,an the lady at the atos center had the cheek to say "so you can have children with this condition".i am now appealing against the atos's and its goin to tribunral and ive been told its goin to be 42 weeks, which as left me feelin very down and depressed as i am not looking forward to attendin the tribunral,as im not good in these situations i just feel like im fighting a losing battle, and on top of that ive just been diagnosed with spondylitis.

im a 30 year old women,i have sufferd with fibro since i was 7 yrs old,and have now been told i have spondylitis.
Sorry you had such a bad experience fortunately many people who go to appeal do get the decision reversed in their favour so lets hope you get the same result
VG x
thank you x
Have you seen a copy of the ATOS medical report that the physio sent to the DWP? You really need this in order to appeal properly. I wrote a letter of complaint to ATOS after I "failed" the medical on points as the nurse had actually lied about me on the report. You need as much medical evidence as you can get hold of. A rheumy report from the hospital any x ray results etc. Don't be afraid of them, but pain cannot be seen or felt by others that is why you need firm medical evidence. Keep your chin up and I wish you luck with the appeal x
I'm so sorry to hear of your problems and yet another on top. I hope your appeal gets heard soon as delaying them is just making us all worse.
I don't know anything about spondylitis, is it the same as spondylosis? As that's what I have been told I have xx ((hugs))
