First scan on day 11?

Hi everyone,

I really appreciate how great this community is and I just had a query I'm hoping others might have experience with

This is my first IVF cycle. I was scanned for a baseline on day 2 of my cycle, they said my lining was quite thick at 8mm and found a simple cyst on my left ovary so they couldn't see that one. They said i could still start the cycle as it wasn't producing estrogen and assumed my lining would do down. My first scan after this is due on day 11. I'm currently day 7, today my temp went above baseline, though I had a negative lh as I tested as I was a bit worried. I assumed it's normal to wait that long for a second scan but it feels quite some time and I'm just a little worried it should be sooner to see how it's all going.

I wanted to check if it's normal to wait so long between?

All clinics seem to do things differently. My first and eventually last clinic scanned every two days from starting stims, sometimes towards the end every day to get the timing right

However I did try a second clinic and they only scanned me once on day 9.

Got similar success with eggs collected and matured from both. Just had no fertilisation with second clinic but wouldn’t say that was to do with lack of scanning

my clinic normally scan 7 days after starting stims so day 9 or 10 of cycle usually so yours doesn’t sound too far off from that at day 11, but they are all consistent as greenlilly said

is that day 11 of your cycle or day 11 of the stimulation?
