This is v random but I'm currently taking Progynova x4 a day for my 2nd FET cycle (1st was cancelled), my clinic only does lining scans on day 14, but how comes it's later in the cycle? Deffo not saying they are wrong as they are 100% the experts but I always wonder why some clinics do a lining scan on day 10/11 but others do it later...

Hi there. I am on 2x twice a day progynova. My clinic in Australia is doing my first lining scan on day 10 but I think that's because I have a short cycle. 24 day cycle and ovulation is between day 16-18. Luckily we did a day 10 scan last month. My lining was so rubbish that I've started progynova this month.
Hi Esb. Often depends upon the length of your cycle. Day 14 is more likely to be for a 28-30 day cycle. Shorter cycles are done a few days earlier. Hope that helps. Diane
That makes sense Diane! My cycle is 29-32 days. Though I think day 14 is 'standard' for them (as in they just say this to everyone rather than looking at your cycle and saying a day 14 lining scan is good for you), but I suppose that the 'average' cycle is 28 ish days so they are obviously going by everyone being average. Either way that makes sense, thanks!
