I've just had my Day 8 scan and my lining is only 4.5 mm thick. The nurse said it's not as thick as they would like. Also there were follicles (all around the same size 7-9mm) but not a single dominant follicle.
I've never had this happen. Usually my lining is around 8mm by now and always has a lead follicle.
I'm doing a natural unmedicated frozen embryo transfer this cylce (my first time) and now I'm worried the cycle will be cancelled.
Do any of you remember what your lining thickness was and the size of your lead follicle on day 8?

Hi my lining was about 8mm and I’m really sorry I can’t recall what size the follicles were . Possibly 16 ? Does that sound about right ? Sorry I can’t help you anymore . Think our bodies play tricks on us . Could they up your medication ? X hope they don’t cancel it it’s so disappointing x x
I'm not on any medication as it's an unmedicated natural FET.
Today is day 8 and my lining is only 4.5mm and all the follicles are measuring small 7-9mm and there isn't a dominant lead follicle. If I can't get my lining to 8mm and if there isn't a decent size dominant follicle they'll cancel this cycle I'm hoping it'll improve over the next 5 or so days...not sure if anyone has experienced this?
I have had issues with lining but this time it was 8-9 by day 10 and reached 10.3 by the time I transferred. I had neupogen infusions as this can help with lining. I also had a hysteroscopy prior to this to remove scar tissue as this may have impacted the environment in my uterus. Not sure if this helps with what you need but good luck and I hope you are it to transfer xx
Hi thanks for replying. I had a hycosy on December and all was well. Do you think the actual egg retrieval process can care scaring? I'm not in any medication this cycle...did they give you those injections half way through your cycle? It's day 10 for me today and I can another scan today so hopefully it's increased slightly but I'm sure not much in the last day or so...Frustrating
I doubt egg retrieval causes scaring. The neupogen is infused through a cathether into the uterus. A bit like the embryo transfer process but they apply this solution up there to try and make the uterus more receptive. Not sure about it's success rates as I've had it done twice and still no pregnancy. I wouldn't worry about the follicles as you are doing a FET but I am keeping everything crossed for you and hope that the lining has increased. I usually eat plenty of oily foods like nuts and avocado during each of my attempts and brazil nuts especially. Keep us posted
Thanks for this. I just had my Day 10 scan and my lining is up to 7.03 with a dominant follicle at 12mm so it's slow growing...I'm glad my lining is heading in the right direction. Just need my follicle to get a move on...
