progesterone drop

hi guys,

had my 4th FET on Wednesday morning, my clinic (first transfer here!) are SO thorough + monitor with bloods every 2 days and change Medication if needed. Friday no change was required but just had a call after this mornings bloods and my progesterone has dropped from 212 to 149 so have to bring cyclogest back ontop of the prontogest injections.

They will test again Tuesday.

Am I worrying about nothing? She said it’s not a huge concern…..I’m going to drive myself mad!

Hi lovely,

My clinic always wants the progesterone level over 100 during FET so looks like yours is ok even though it dropped. The impact of low progesterone can be that your lining sheds early so as long as it’s over 100 it’s probably fine. X

thank you so much, I can’t find much online about it + it’s really made me panic. I’m still well over 100 so hopefully now it stabilises x

Every clinic is different in what they need a lot only want it over 35! My clinic recently started a study into this they test your progesterone levels the day before transfer and if there below 100 they up your progesterone meds. Apparently since doing this they are getting more positive results. Mine were 59 day before transfer so they told me yo do an extra shot of lubion a day. Im now 10 weeks. Your levels will fluctuate throughout the day but 145 is still above 100 so I wouldn't worry about it, your body will only absorb what it needs any extra is srecred in your urine. Just keep taking your meds and try to find things to do that occupy your mind as the TWW can drive us crazy 🤪. Good luck x
