I had a day 6 frozen blastocyst transfer on Friday 26/07. The period was supposed to arrive on Saturday 3rd August, I did a pregnancy test on Sunday, which was negative. The clinic suggested doing the test on day 11 (Tuesday 6th)...will it turn positive? how many women saw this change as positive? Is the progesterone preventing my period from coming? I would appreciate any word of wisdom..my hopes are null but my partner is keeping positive! Thank you all.

Am sorry Flowers as I can't share any positive stories as I haven't had any late success at day 11 testing - but there is a reason clinics ask us to test slightly later because things can still happen. Progesterone does seem to delay my period by a day or two but for others it can seem to have more of an impact. Am still hopeful for you xx
Hi, sending you love and hugs during this time as it is absolutely agonising!
Sorry I can’t really answer your question as it’s not been the case for me, but it does sound like you may have tested too early? Iv just had a FET, a day before you and I tested Monday which was 11DPT, it was negative for me and my clinic said by this point the HCG would be rising significantly enough to pick up on the test and not to test before this date, so there is a chance you’ve tested too early to detect it.
Keeping everything crossed for you for your test today ❤️ xx
I want to say that the test I did on Sunday was an Asda one (£1.50), been told off (in a loving way) by my partner because he rightly thought it was too cheap to be reliable! I tested again last night with Clear Blue and it was positive.. confirmed this morning too! I hope all goes well and in the meantime thank you so much! I wish all the best to everyone!!!!!
