Hi ladies

I’m looking for some of your experiences with progesterone results

Month 1 my result was 70 bfp however early mc

Month 2 my result was 39 however had a very light period and concerns with lining thinning

Month 3 my result is 73.......

however my lining was only 4.9 on day 12 scan so not holding much luck, the hospital said I’m responding 50g clomid well with ovulation. However it could be thinning my lining so looking to change to injections this month when AF arrives. Has anymore had a change in meds or similar results??? Xx

Hi,

I am really sorry about your MC and that ypu have to go through this again.

I personally think that measuring the lining is a bit a bit of a woodoo practice.Last Thursday, my lining was 6.3mm and on Monday the very same doctor measured 4.7mm - I am currently on injections after the clomid did not work. I asked him and he said, that this is in the normal range of measurement error. Some people have a thin lining, some people a thick, and I am just somewhere in the middle which is absolutely allright. I think if your lining would be too thin they would tell you.

Your progesterone levels are really really high, which means that you have a really good egg quality. Anything above 20 is considered good. So it really seems that the clomid works for you. I hope you wont need another cycle xxx

Hi, that’s really interesting about your lining.... mine was 8.9 month 1 however month 2 they think it was thin as I had the smallest period.... so they monitored me this month & the last scan was 4.9... so said if nothing happens il be changed to injections as they think the clomid is thinning my lining.... how have you found the injections? I’ve had so much pain on my left ovary this month but not sure if that’s because of my high progesterone... xx

Ah I see!

I am so happy on the injections, although I am not pregnant (and most likely will not be on them) but they are doing me really well. I had 8 or 9 rounds of Clomid on up to 150mg and did ovulate only twice. My mood was so terribly bad, I was kind of depressed and cryed everyday through months. 3 days in my injections and I was myself again! The time it takes to grow a follicle is quite variable though, but I really dont mind it. These are so much better than tha clomid!

That’s great news. Clomid can be a nightmare, due to taking so many other supplements I’m not sure which one is causing any side-effects. can I ask what the name is of the injection they have given you? Xx

Hi I havent had clomid but my results were 27.4 at 4 dpo on day 18 I rang to change my day to 21 but there were no nurses available to do the bloods. I did conceive that cycle but we did mc again at 12w was blighted again.
