morning everyone. I had two failed ICSI cycles and I am scheduled for a frozen embryo transfer in October. Unfortunately the grading is not great (day 6 4CB) but I’ve been reading a lot about aspirin and how it’s meant to help implantation. Any success stories?

Aspirin helps implantation?
I’ve used asprin in all three of my fets (two failed and one stuck). Now I’m on it for the rest of my pregnancy to try and prevent preeclampsia. It can help but implantation because it thins the blood a bit which keeps things flowing which is what you want for implantation. I think it’s proven to help more when there are actually blood clotting issues but then again it can’t hurt.
it worked for me. I just took it from the day I had my transfer and during the two week window and then I tapered off and stopped as I was worried it would cause bleeding. But got a bfp. I’m now on it for the rest of my pregnancy anyway due to preeclampsia risk too! Worth a go in my opinion. 75mg a day with dinner 😊
I was told it can hinder implantation by Dr Regan and the team. So only took it from bfp.
I took baby aspirin for my successful transfer. It is hard to tell if it is what made the difference (there were other changes to my protocol, including increase in progesterone and oral and vaginal probiotics) but a word of warning: it can be a two-edged sword. Aspirin increases your risk of subchorionic haematomas which can cause bleeds. I had a large painful one at 5w and was told to stop the baby aspiring immediately as another bleed could threaten the pregnancy. Fortunately, the haematoma resolved itself by the 12 w scan. Very best of luck with your transfer and whatever you decide to do!
Hi. Low dose soluble aspirin helps with blood circulation and hopefully prevents clot formation occurring. Some specialists believe it might be.p because of these properties. Diane
