Hi

I took aspirin from 12wks until 36.5wks due to it being an IVF pregnancy & having low Papp-a. The reason for taking was to allow the blood to flow efficiently from the placenta to baby but also pre pregnancy it can improve implantation.
Taking for a short period of time shouldn’t do any harm & effectively should only support in the process.
Wishing you lots of luck x
Hi, I am taking aspirin every day along with clexane injections, I learned the tough way after suffering some miscarriages that I carry some antibodies and aspirin actually helps. I wish I’d have taken a baby aspirin 75mg every day from my first cycle of treatment, I think it does help. My Dr at the time said don’t worry about it, and it wasn’t until my 6th round they said to do it. Check with your Dr but I only hear positive things.
Hi. Some women who have suffered several miscarriages or negative ewsults are often prescribed low dose soluble aspirin once a day, to hopefully ensure good blood flow and to help prevent clot formation. Always be aware of stomach ulcers and cuts may bleed longer than normal. Diane
Hi! I am due my first FET in September, I had my treatment plan appointment last week and I have been prescribed asprin alongside all my other meds. I don't know the in's and out's but my clinic has advised me to take it
Hi! My clinic said I could take it after one failed FET. I did and that transfer worked but I also had a large scary bleed and threatened miscarriage at 5w due to a large subchorionic haematoma. We were told that these were quite common after taking aspirin and other blood thinners and had to stop them immediately. Luckily, the haematoma resolved itself by the 12 week scan. Just wanted to flag that there are possible side effects to the baby aspirin along with the benefits that clinics don't necessarily warn you about. Good luck!
Hi I am taking baby aspirin - started before FET and I am still taking it, I am now 7w5d
I took it with my 2 failed transfers and my successful one. It’s supposed to help with implantation and blood flow. I was also advised to take it now that I’m pregnant from 12 weeks onward to try to help prevent preeclampsia since I’m having twins.
It is very commonly prescribed, we tried it but I am apparently allergic and it made my blood pressure go up really high. This is not common tho and it helps most people from what I understand.
Congratulations ❤️❤️ xx
My clinic said they weren’t recommending it but I could take it if I wanted. So I took 75mg a day. After my BFP the midwife put me on 150mg per day. I’d say take it. Savers sell enteric coated cheap.
