I had two fail IVF cycles. In my first IVF cycle, I ended up with no embryo to transfer. In my second cycle, I had 6 fertilised eggs and 4 of them reached the Blastocyst level with grads of 5aa, 4bb, 4bc, and 3bb. The 5aa was transferred last month and it was Failed. My doctor suggested with no break we should transfer one of our frozen embryos this month in the natural cycle. So, I am going to transfer without any medicine in this cycle (even no Progesterone).
Does anyone have experience in the natural IVF cycle? Should I wait for a couple of months before FET?
Thanks.

Hey e38718, I'm on my first natural FET but with progesterone and no other drugs. My clinic wanted me to have the back up as it wouldn't harm things. But technically as you naturally ovulate and release progesterone you don't need it. If i were you, I'd get progesterone levels monitored with the option of taking it if they are low. How do you feel about going straight into another round? If any part of you wants a break then there's no harm doing it month after. You you should feel ready boty pyhsically and mentally. Good luck xxx
Thanks for your suggestion. I definitely should monitor my progesterone level. I told my doctor I prefer to have at least one month's break, but he said, "sooner you start this cycle is better."
I wouldn't go with Dr's refommendations. I'm 40 and my Dr was eager to push me into another round due to age. I wasn't ready and all the fails indicated my mind and body had enough. My intuition played a huge role in my current early pregnancy. You know what you need, a month will make no difference. If anything you get to shed all the drugs and start afresh xx
I had a natural cycle in October but I was supported with progesterone as my own natural levels were a little low. Mine failed. It was nice not having all the medication but I was travelling for scans every other day from day 10,whoch was very tiring as my clinic is 2.5 hours away so was driving 5 hours a day for a 10 minute scan. I don't see any reason why you should need to wait unless you want to have a break. Wishing you all the best xx
Thank you hun, currently 9dp5dt, OTD is Sunday so holding out until then xx
Hi , my first transfer was a 5aa and failed, I did have one cycle break and then a natural cycle with 2x 4ba,4ab. One took, I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant. I was on progesterone and still am. We've learnt from previous experience that I don't produce enough progesterone. I found the natural cycle easier to be honest. Best of luck 🥰
