Well after 25 days of hard going antibiotics hubby and I have now finished our course. Some days they really knocked us both sick for a few hours and gave a few bad griping pains but all done now. Weirdly hubbys had his bloods done today as part of his ongoing liver issues and they were better than the last lot 3 months ago, so who knows if that’s down to the antibiotics. The other weird thing is after my first loss 4 years ago by cycle changed from 28 days to a 25/26 day cycle. I’m calender day 11 at the min of which is normally my ovulation day however this month I can tell it’s not today and will prob be another couple of days which would mean my cycle potentially could be longer again. Maybe there really is something in this test and treatment. Will keep you all updated. We are currently awaiting our wonderful donor to start her treatment and I pray hubby does not get his liver transplant call before collection day as although we have some sperm frozen I really want him to be able to provide a fresh sample following this treatment. Getting excited now. Amazing match which I feel so happy about and just maybe these antibiotics may just work their magic 😊🙏🏻⭐️🌈xx

Finished Hidden C medication 👍🏻
Great news and it all sounds positive. Onto the next step xx
Good luck, everything crossed for you both xx
I was only just thinking about you yesterday wondering how you got on with the meds! Glad it’s all over now and you can move forward - when are you hoping for transfer - we are going for hopefully the week before Xmas!! Another Xmas not drinking and not knowing it could go either way and be a great or not so great holiday! X
Aw thank you! All being well it looks like it could be a November transfer 😬 that’s if my lining plays balls! We’re doing a freeze all and then hopefully will use my next cycle. Will keep you updated. Hopefully your drink free Xmas will bring you the best ever Xmas present! 😊xx
That's brilliant news lovely! So pleased you both managed to struggle through those drugs, will hopefully be so worth it! Very good news about hubby too! Just a thought, would you clinic consider even freezing a fresh sample from hubby post drugs in case his OP does come up at egg collection?xx
We have some of hubbys sperm frozen already which when I queried it last week and said I thought this sperm would be better I was told they wouldn’t have frozen it if it wasn’t of good enough quality 😬 they’ve suggested fresh would give the best results so hoping that we’re ok for a couple of weeks as think that’s when everything will be happening. I hope everything’s ok with you xxx
Oh that's a b*gger....I was thinking the same as you that it may improve sperm. However hopefully all goes to plan and you dont get any clashes with hubby's OP and he can do fresh sample. Hope he's feeling a little better if his bloods have been better. All ok here, Im having a mock transfer tomorrow night to see if my theory is right - that its the drugs that are wrecking my body and making transfer defficult.....fingers crossed anyway. If all ok I hope to move onto FET asap on next bleed with no down regulation and just a little progynova to boost lining!!xx
Ooh sending lots of luck for tomorrow night then! I hope it goes well. You’ll basically be on the same protocol as me then 😊 and looks like hopefully we’ll be cycling around the same time 👍🏻 let us know how you get on xx
Keeping everything crossed for you that this is the last jigsaw pierce of your journey. You’ve had a tough few years & are due some good news xoxo 😘
Aw thanks Jess, lovely of you to comment. Hope all is going ok with you 😊 can’t be long now till your scan 😊👍🏻xx
Thank you. I don’t get a early scan just book with the midwife at 8 weeks ( this Monday!) I have been told I’ll have consultant led care but I’ll still see a midwife.
🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you xoxo 😘
