Best place to buy IVF medication - Gonal F

Hi ladies,

I am due to start my ivf cycle in mid May and have been given my prescription for all my medication. I want to shop around as the cost of Gonal F is very eye watering have checked with Boots and Clinic and all have quoted above £1k is this the normal price?

I have been prescribed 150 for 12 doses

Any recommendations for where to buy?

£1K is totally normal unfortunately - but try Asda, they have a non-profit structure for the meds so normally have really good prices x

Stork was £240 for 900iu, through Kings Fertility. Fertility2u is also a good option.

Kings fertility sent them a prescription for me, I don’t know how you order from them directly probably worth giving them a call.

I got all my medication from Asda which saved me a lot of money x

Any supermarket pharmacy will be cheaper than boots etc as they only charge a nominal fee for the prescription so you pay the cost of the drugs whereas Boots mark up on the drug cost too. Make sure they have the medication or time to order it in as sometimes they have a more limited stock. Wishing you lots of luck. Xx
