accidentally taken too much meriofert!!

hey everyone back for our 3rd round of IVF after two failures and never had embryos to freeze and already made a mistake…. I’m on 375 meriofert and the nurse said to take 5 vials (she thought we had 75iu) but it turns out it was 150 vials so for the last two days I’ve been taking 750iu of meriofert. Really worried I’ve fucked it and they will cancel the cycle. I feel ok just really tired. I have very low AMH and AFC so think it’s unlikely I would get OHSS. But I’m worried about the impact on the eggs growing but also worried hospital might cancel. Any advice??

I accidentally took too much once too. Please try not to worry and inform them tomorrow. Do they do daily bloods? My clinic does. If ir is daily then all they will do is reduce or stop a day or two of stimulation. How many days have you been stimming?

Hi thanks so much for replying! That’s good to know, not they don’t do daily bloods but I have emailed them just now. This is my third day of stims so pretty early on! Xx

I am sure it will be okay, I did they too , yes call then tomorrow too. Your early in the STIMS so enough time for them to calculate how to adjust the dosages, good luck 🙏

I think it’ll be ok as you’re only started stims🤞hopefully it’ll be a simple fix as they can just adjust the dosage . They change doses up and down with lots of protocols.

Hi BEC. Hopefully you will be ok, you could ask for a blood test. Drink plenty of water to be on the safe side, in case you produce lots of follicles. If you do, Lysol hope they are a decent size for eggs to get into when the time comes. Good luck. Diane
