Hi all just a quick question, I finally had my treatment plan for 2nd cycle this week & am due to begin 2nd jan ( so happy to have this plan in place )
The nurse said about storing the medications in the fridge , I have suprecur & Meriofert
I just wanted to check if this is correct is it ok to store meriofert in the fridge ? I did this already so now I’m worried incase it’s not meant to be.
I won’t be starting that one until end of January.
I didn’t store it in the fridge last time but our house gets quite warm.
Thanks

I have just done a cycle with Meriofert and I was told to just store it at room temperature. My delivery slip from pharmacy told us how to store things - might say with yours? In the leaflets usually if you wanted to be sure. Wishing you all the best for your cycle start in January!
Thanks for the reply yes it says room temperature, it was only because the nurse says about the refrigerator that I questioned it . But I have kept it out now .
Thank you hope all’s well with your journey also x
It should say on the package insert how to store it - legally medicines have to have this information. It will probably be on the box as well but definitely the insert. xx
Hey, having been told to keep mine in the fridge and having my fridge pack up whilst full of IVF drugs - I can confidently confirm that Meriofert can be kept in the fridge or at room temp. Manufacturer confirmed that if stored at room temp, it has a shelf life of a month & if stored in the fridge it lasts longer. Since our cycles aren’t longer than a month, it is fine to keep at room temp. Hopefully it’s delivered cooled/ refrigerated though so you can track it’s shelf life. My clinic confirmed the same was true for Gonal-F
