After 5 failed transfers (4x fresh & 1 fet) , my doctor decided to do a hysteroscopy, all i can say is OMG , i did not expect it to be soooo painful. A friend told me it would be, but i thought can't be that bad 🤣 On the bright side, she couldn't see any issues, now i need to wait for the biopsy results, & prepare myself for my next round at the end of May, hoping that this time will finally be the one that sticks.

Hi there, I hope you don't mind me asking do you know what tests they are carrying out on the biopsy? I'm scheduled to have a hysteroscopy and was wondering if I should ask for a biopsy too whilst they are doing it? Good luck for your results and next transfer and thank you for any advice!
Hi, I know they check for multiple things but im not sure what they all are.
With me they found that i had chronic endometritis, which is an inflammation of the endometrium, and that can affect implantation, i just had to take antibiotics.
Today had my egg retrieval, waiting on the call tomorrow to see how many of my 11 follicules have made it.
Ahhh thank you so much for the information, so I'll see what they recommend then to test for including inflammation! Good luck with your embryos, fingers crossed for a positive outcome xx
