Hi to you lovely people. Just writing here as I’ve exhausted reading al the other posts and websites out there.

This is my first IVF cycle, which has taken a very long time to get ti this point - I had my FET on 2nd March and then had what I thought was the happiest news with BFP urine test followed by the same for the blood test, albeit slightly fainter.

Today I’ve experienced period like cramps and dull aches accompanied by red blood. It’s not full flow but certainly seems to be more than would be expected from implantation, and also wrong timing? I’m so confused, and heartbroken that the tests could have been a false positives. I’ve contacted the clinic but they’re closed today.

I’m still taking oestrogen and progesterone gels.

I guess just hoping for other peoples similar experiences and writing it all down helps process it a little. Thanks all for reading and sharing your own experiences.

Ah I’m so sorry lovely, it’s really hard.

There is no way of knowing until you have another blood test or two to check numbers of HCG. You could try another home urine test and see how dark the line is, but that might just make things worse.

It could be totally fine or an early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. I hope it turns out ok and it’s just bleeding due to a haematoma or something. 🤞🤞🤞🤞❤️

hey , there is not knowing until you have your bloods done . You have to keep taking your meds until you have your blood results or contact your clinic for advice. One off bleeding is not necessary a miscarriage. I have pain since the transfer and I did had bleeding at 10 days following embryo , spotting for weeks, then another bleed at 7 weeks following by spotting again for days . I am 10 weeks and still have cramps and pain constantly.

Hi, so sorry to read this, I pray you will be alright. I had double 3 days embryo transfer and was pregnant. Started bleeding at 5 weeks and 2 days. So it turned out that the 2 embryo implanted and I was losing one. I went on to have my baby boy afterwards.So I continued bleeding and was inserting the tab until about 12 weeks and everything cleared up.

I hope this helps and pray that the baby is still intact. Who knows it might be haematoma or maybe the embryo splitted. I wish you all the best and fingers crossed for you. xx
