hello, as usual just looking for a little reassurance.. although pretty sure it’s game over for me!
For background, I had a chemical pregnancy with my first transfer (starting hcg 60) and so was delighted when my hcg reading was 577 for this FET. I’m now at 5 weeks and had very subtle brown spotting a few days back which disappeared, however today I’ve had bright red blood accompanied by soft cramps. As the hours have passed I feel as though my flow is getting heavier and cramps possibly slightly stronger (though still not bad). I’ve been in for a blood test this afternoon and am hoping to get the result back this evening, though I really don’t think it’ll be good news. Literally feeling so sorry for myself because it’s my birthday today and it’s safe to say I will not be leaving the house😂

Thanks 🤍 tbh i can’t see this going any other way. I’ve been steady bleeding since midday, pretty sure it’s just my period has arrived. So gutted they didn’t get my blood result in time so will hear back in the morning x
My bloods have come back good so I need to take another test on Wednesday - however, I am certain it’s just that my levels started higher and therefore are ‘in range’ but on their way down 😒
I’m sorry. How stressful. I had a lot of very painful cramping and some red bleeding in about week 5 or 6 (although I only bled for an evening and then it stopped), I’m now 19 weeks pregnant. So it’s hard to tell. I’m keeping all my fingers crossed for you for a positive outcome and if it isn’t, sending all my good healing thoughts your way.
thanks for your reply, that’s very comforting 💕 my bleeding started at midday yesterday and I was still bleeding a little this morning but have completely stopped since around midday.
We booked an early pregnancy scan this morning hoping to get a bit more clarity on whether a miscarriage has happened/explanation for the bleeding. To our surprise she could see a yolk sac which was apparently in the correct location and everything was ‘as expected for 5 weeks 3 days’ - however the fact it was so early meant she couldn’t 100% confirm everything so I really don’t know how to feel about it. At first she mentioned the sac potentially being a slightly different shape, but later on said to ‘completely disregard her comment about the shape’ because it could just be the angle and she couldn’t see properly etc because it’s so early. Basically I’m still confused but I guess it’s given me a glimmer of hope. Second blood test tomorrow morning 🤞🏼
This happened to me last week and I’ve went back today and saw a heartbeat despite another big bleed over the weekend!! Hoping a scan in a week or so is the same for you 🤞🏽I’m just taking it one scan at a time at the moment xx
sooooo my second blood test came back good (16217) the other day, but once again I find myself bleeding 😅 Twiglet2 i am hoping I’m as lucky as you and everything goes ok for my heartbeat scan! It was meant to be on the 2nd but they’re offering to move it a few days earlier …
so I was being totally chill about the bleeding, but then it ramped up to clots by the evening 😳one biggish one and two smaller.. so we’ve booked another scan locally for this morning. I’m pleased that the bleeding has mostly stopped this morning, but we defo wont be able to wait till Tuesday now. Have you had any clots at all? I might as well set up a standing order with these early pregnancy scan units, feels like if today goes well I’m going to be there weekly at the very least 😂
Aww that must be scary, good you are getting a scan today! I’ve not had clots really this time but I had huge clots for days with my little boy a few times and all was okay that time so hoping it’s the same for you 🤞🏽 xx
