I did a medicated cycle last months (5 days of letrozole + HCG trigger + progesterone pessaries for luteal phase). By day 14 I was experiencing usual ovulation signs and the follicle was large enough, so I was triggered day 14.
This cycle i'm away so I am unmonitored. It's day 14 and i've had very few signs of ovulation (very little ewcm and no LH surge yet). I took exactly the same dose of Letrozole and am beginning to worry for some reason it hasn't worked this month :/
I was wondering if the effects can vary from month to month and perhaps I needed a higher dose this month? Or if delayed ovulaton was normal and it can vary from cycle to cycle when medicates?
I'm getting worried as i was so relieved to have found a process that worked to give me a normal cycle last month (even though I didn't fall pregnant!) and now that formula may not work after all!
Many thanks xxx

Hello! I’ve taken letrozole for quite a while now, around 15ish cycles on and off as I have managed to get pregnant but unfortunately had a few miscarriages.
But I can react differently every single month to it, some months I will ovulate on C18-19 and other months I won’t at all! January I ovulated C13. And then last month and this month unfortunately I have not ovulated! My clinic have suggested me upping the dose for next cycle to 7.5mg.
It’s so frustrating when you think, this works for me now and then something changes! Hoping you’ll ovulate just a bit later than usual and everything works out for you ☺️
Are you on letrozole for PCOS? I don't have PCOS but have been given it for low FSH / weak ovulation.
Bit of an odd Q - on the cycles where you didn't ovulate, did you see an LH rise or signs on fertility monitoring strips?
I've had a few testing stips yesterday which indicated a rise in LH but no peak and gone back down. I'm therefore not sure if i ovulated or not (and maybe missed the peak!) We did try anyway but it's annoying not being able to confirm! I'm trying to take my temperature but have been on holidya in a very hot appartment so temperature readings aren't very accurate!
I may ask for a higher does going forward like you said
I do take it for PCOS, and I don’t usually ovulate at all without. Yes my LH goes up and down on the cycles that I don’t ovulate, gives me false hope which is again very frustrating! I thought for sure I was going to ovulate this month because of ewcm and felt very bloated, usually good signs for me but no dominant follicles at my scan and Lh strips have been bouncing bewtween 0.2 and 0.5
